CZ believes that such a migration would lessen the load on the Ethereum network as well as lower <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/high-eth-gas-could-cause-binance-to-increase-ethereum-withdrawal-fees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ETH gas fees<\/a>. He made these comments on Twitter and after he was asked whether he would love to see more DeFi projects on the Binance Smart Chain.<\/p>\n<p>Below is CZ&#8217;s response and the tweet that initiated the conversation.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/cz_binance\/status\/1305008604420825090<\/p>\n<h2>Binance Smart Chain is Not in Competition With Ethereum<\/h2>\n<p>In a later tweet, CZ was <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cz_binance\/status\/1304634359744360451?s=09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">quick to clarify<\/a> that Binance Smart Chain is <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/binance-smart-chain-is-designed-to-be-compatible-with-ethereum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">no rival to Ethereum<\/a>. BSC was built to be Ethereum compatible and provide smart contract creators with more options.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>BSC never aimed to replace ETH, BSC is just ETH-compatible. Smart projects are giving their users more options. Option for cheaper fees.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>DeFi Projects Already on the Binance Smart Chain<\/h2>\n<p>At the time of writing, the following DeFi projects are running on the Binance Smart Chain.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Rewkang\/status\/1304780988526915584\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Cream Finance<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Burger Swap<\/li>\n<li>Bakery Swap<\/li>\n<li>ForTube<\/li>\n<li>Bounce Finance<\/li>\n<li>Spartan Protocol<\/li>\n<li>Stake Cow<\/li>\n<li>Peach Swap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As with all DeFi projects, readers are reminded that Yield Farming is a risky endeavor and adequate research should be undertaken before committing funds on new DeFi protocols.<\/p>\n<h2>Binance Smart Chain Reaches 10% of Ethereum&#8217;s Transaction Volume<\/h2>\n<p>Also worth mentioning is the fact that the Binance Smart Chain transaction volume recently reached 10% of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/decreasing-ethereum-network-activity-foreshadowed-eths-pullback\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ethereum&#8217;s network<\/a> a few days ago.
