Initially, investors were moving their Ethereum away from crypto exchanges and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/ethereum-investors-continue-moving-eth-out-of-exchanges-and-into-defi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">into DeFi protocols<\/a> to participate in yield farming.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the same Ethereum investors are moving their ETH out of crypto exchanges and onto offline wallets as the digital asset hints of a pending bullish phase that could see it <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/ethereum-eth-could-be-prepping-to-set-a-new-all-time-high\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">set a new all-time high<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This fact was identified by the team at Santiment via <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/santimentfeed\/status\/1350738430263783424\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">the following statement<\/a> and accompanying chart.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">The ratio of <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\">#Ethereum<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> tokens sitting on exchanges continues to decrease &amp; move to offline holder wallets. The latter time period was when Bitcoin dipped to $3,150 and Ethereum fell to as low as $80. Both digital assets would go on to peak in June 2019 at a value of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/altcoin-market-cap-drops-by-31b-due-to-the-sec-suing-ripple\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$14k<\/a> and $366 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>With the CME Ethereum futures contracts <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/cme-group-plans-to-launch-ethereum-eth-futures-on-feb-8th-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">set to launch on February 8th<\/a> this year, ETH investors could very well be prepping for a similar bullish climb to a new all-time high.<\/p>\n<p>To note is that Bitcoin is currently in a bull market brought about by last year&#8217;s halving event and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/eth-is-undervalued-in-terms-of-institutional-buying-cryptoquant-ceo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the influx of institutional investors<\/a> who want to hedge against inflation.
