The FTX hacker reportedly stole around $477M from the bankrupt exchange FTX just after the exchange filed for <a href=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/ftx-bankrupt-sam-bankman-fried-resigns\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.ethereumworldnews.com\/ftx-bankrupt-sam-bankman-fried-resigns\/\">Chapter 11 bankruptcy<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Was this an Inside Job?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are still unknowns to this hack, but many believe it has to be an insider job. The hack began around the same time FTX officials wrote a tweet about their Chapter 11 Bankruptcy filing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief executive of security firm Hacken told <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/buda_kyiv\/status\/1592095720093667328\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/buda_kyiv\/status\/1592095720093667328\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Coindesk<\/a> on Tuesday that the FTX Hacker has had access to all the FTX cold storage wallets exploited. Private keys are normally required for this type of access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the blockchain transaction, the user mistakenly identified themselves while using the Kraken exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We know the identity of the user&#8221; &#8211; Nick Percoco, CEO of Kraken, revelead via <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/c7five\/status\/1591434844760076290\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/c7five\/status\/1591434844760076290\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Twitter<\/a> on November 12.
