Binance Smart Chain’s Highest Daily Transaction Count Exceeds that of Ethereum by a Factor of 2.77x
For comparison purposes, the highest number of daily transactions on the Ethereum blockchain currently stands at 1,406,016. According to EtherScan.io, this achievement was achieved on September 17th, 2020.
Doing the math, the current peak value of daily transactions on the Binance Smart Chain has exceeded that of Ethereum by a factor of 2.77x. Such an achievement is noteworthy given that the Binance Smart Chain was launched on September 1st, 2020.
Binance Coin Sets New ATH, Could Keep Climbing Due to the Coming BNB Coin Burn
With respect to value, the high network activity on the Binance Smart Chain has been responsible for Binance Coin (BNB) hitting a new all-time high of $400 – Binance rate.
The digital asset has been on a continuous climb since the last major dip to $225 on the 25th of March. This in turn means that Binance Coin (BNB) has experienced gains to the tune of 77.77% in a period of fewer than two weeks.
To note is that the CEO of Binance, CZ, had earlier hinted that the quarterly Binance Coin burn will be announced around this time. If history is to go by, the price of Binance Coin has benefited from such announcements. Therefore, BNB could still rally higher in the hours and days ahead.
