Yuga Labs has released a teaser trailer of its yet-to-be-launched Bored Ape Yacht Club web3 metaverse.
The trailer was shared via Twitter and showcased a Bored Ape fishing outside what looks like the BAYC clubhouse.
The BAYC ape soon catches something at the end of his rod only to retrieve a bottle that says ‘Drink Me’. The ape soon drinks from the bottle and the world around him seems to transform into all sorts of things.
He is then abducted by a flying creature and soon realizes that the label on the bottle read ‘DON’T Drink Me’.
What transpires next, is that he sees characters from the following NFT projects in aircraft: Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Cool Cats, CryptoPunks, CrypToadz, Meebits, Nouns, and World of Women.
BAYC Metaverse Could Launch in April
The trailer by Yuga Labs is accompanied by a caption that reads ‘See you on the Otherside in April’ which suggests the BAYC metaverse might be launched next month.

BAYC Metaverse Will Be an Interoperable Gaming Experience
The teaser trailer by Yuga Labs corroborates a leaked pitch deck of the BAYC metaverse that emphasizes interoperability with other NFT projects.
The pitch deck goes on to explain that the BAYC metaverse will make all other metaverses obsolete since it will provide ‘a brand new gaming experience where money is real, you actually own your land and resources, everyone can bring their own NFT character, and anyone can create in-game assets.’
Animoca Brands Announces its Entry into the BAYC Metaverse
Animoca Brands, the blockchain metaverse developer behind The Sandbox, also announced its entry into the BAYC metaverse through a secret project that will utilize the newly launched ApeCoin (APE).
