  • However, the team at Weiss wants to see more DApps on Polkadot

The team at Weiss Ratings has dubbed Polkadot as ‘one of the best layer 1 protocols’ in the crypto space. The team went on to highlight Polkadot’s meteoritic rise to the top ten according to market capitalization. However, Weiss hoped to see more working DApps on Polkadot that can rival or exceed those of Ethereum. The team at Weiss shared their insights on Polkadot via the following statement.

The #Polkadot is one of the best layer-1 protocols out there. It’s also one of the top 10 by market cap. However, in 2021 the bar was raised – we need to see working #dapps that perform as good or even better than the #Ethereum counterpart to be impressed and intrigued.

And that goes for the rest of the layer-1 protocols competing with #ETH. Pure tech potential no longer cuts it.
