Over $100 million in USD Coin (USDC) has been issued on the Tron network
According to Tronscan, USDC token supply on Tron currently stands at 108,308,353.05
USDC on Tron is now live across all Circle products including all accounts and APIs
The amount of USD Coin (USDC) issued on the Tron (TRX) network has now exceeded $100 million. This milestone was identified and shared by Tron’s founder and CEO, Justin Sun, who expressed his optimism that USDC will become a popular option for many stablecoin users, developers and institutions.
Mr. Sun shared his thoughts on the growth of USDC on Tron (TRX) through the following tweet.
To note is that Centre’s plan to issue USD Coin (USDC) on additional networks was only announced yesterday, June 30th. I quick search of USD Coin on TronScan.org reveals that a total of 108,308,353.05 USDC tokens have been issued on the Tron network since then. The screenshot below further highlights this fact.
USDC on Tron Now Supported on Circle’s Ecosystem
In an earlier announcement, the team at Circle had notified the crypto-verse that USD Coin (USDC) on Tron was now available on the platform’s ecosystem including Circle Accounts and the full suite of Circle APIs.
Justin Sun once again explained the demand for stablecoins such as USDC, opened the doors to new use-cases as explained below.

The announcement went on to add that Tron was now part of Circle’s Multichain Partner Program. The latter is an initiative to boost interoperability and liquidity of USD Coin (USDC) across numerous blockchains to achieve Circle’s mission of improving economic prosperity around the world.
The Multichain Partner Program has a swap feature for USDC on all supported networks thus allowing users to have a seamless experience with their favorite stablecoin of USD Coin across numerous blockchains.
